33 ounces sparkling water, chilled
33 ounces ginger ale, chilled
24 ounces unsweetened white grape juice; chilled
In a punch bowl or large pitcher, combine carbonated
water, ginger ale
and grape juice. Serve over ice in chilled champagne
or wine glasses or
punch cups.

Hot Chocolate
You can't beat chocolate, the ultimate aphrodisiac.
Enjoy it in liquid
form for a warming drink. Makes four small mugs.
6 Tablespoons Dutch-process cocoa, measured by
dip-and-sweep
4 heaping Tablespoons sugar
small pinch salt
1 cup water
3 cups 1% or 2% low-fat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup half & half*
* Omit half-and-half if using whole milk.
Whisk, cocoa, sugar, salt and water over low heat in
a pan until smooth.
Simmer as you whisk constantly, for 2 minutes. Make
sure whisk gets to
the edge of the pan. Add milk. Raise heat to medium-low.
Cook and
occasionally whisk until steam comes from surface
and small bubbles are
around the edge-- about 12-15 minutes. Don't bring
to a boil. Add
vanilla and half-and-half. Remove from heat.
Beat with a mixer or hand-blender if you want foamy
hot chocolate.
Serve topped with marshmallows or whipped cream.
Variation: Add one-inch strip of orange zest when
adding milk.

Banana Crush
3 cups water
2 cups sugar
1-1/2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
46 ounces pineapple juice
3 bananas, mashed
3 quarts gingerale or 7-Up
In a saucepan combine water and sugar and cook into
syrup. Remove from
heat and stir in orange juice, lemon juice, pineapple
juice and bananas.
Freeze mixture. When ready to serve, place mixture
in punch bowl, let
thaw and pour in gingerale. Or you can chop off small
pieces of mixture,
enough to fill glasses half-full. Fill glasses with
gingerale and serve.

Banana Orange Honey Shake
2 oranges, peeled, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 banana, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup low-fat or nonfat milk
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 ice cubes
ground nutmeg (optional)
In blender container or food processor bowl, place
oranges, banana,
milk, honey and vanilla. Cover and blend about 60
seconds or until
smooth. With machine running, add ice cubes one at
a time through hole
in lid of blender or feed tube of processor, blend
15 seconds more. Pour
into 3 tall glasses. Sprinkle ground nutmeg on top.
Makes 3 cups, or
about 3 servings.

Lemon Love
1/2 banana
6 ounces papaya juice
5 ounces lemon frozen yogurt
Blend all and serve, makes 1 serving.

Purple Passion
6 ounces frozen grape juice concentrate, thawed
3 juice cans cold water
1 juice can vodka
1/2 cup lemon juice concentrate
1/4 cup sugar
ice
purple grapes & mint leaves for garnish
In pitcher, combine all ingredients, except ice &
fruit, and mint. Stir
until sugar dissolves. Cover & chill. Serve over
ice & garnish with
fruit & mint leaves.
